Refund and Returns Policy

When is my order confirmed?
All orders are confirmed once full payment for the order has been received. This is typically at the time of purchase for those checking out online but may be delayed for those who opt to pay by cheque (only if confirmed with Smashing Good Piñatas). For those who opt to pay by cheque, we will reach out to you via email to notify you that the order is confirmed shortly after the cheque has been processed.

Order confirmation emails
You will receive an order confirmation email automatically after your order is placed. Please ensure that the email you provide is accurate so that you receive the email. If you placed an order and did not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk or spam folder as it was most likely filtered into one of these folders.

If you still cannot find the email, please contact us at info@smashinggood.ca and we will resend it for you.

Changing your order
If you need to make changes to your order please contact us by replying to your order confirmation email. Some order changes may result in additional charges, in which case you will be notified. If you need to make changes, please notify us as soon as possible to improve the likelihood of us being able to accommodate your request. Some last-minute requests may not be possible.

Any design changes to your custom order must be made within 24 hours of ordering when you placed your order. Changes to the construction of the design, once it is in the process of being made, may compromise the construction of the item.

We reserve the right to make minor changes to your order depending on the materials we have available and the feasibility of your requested design. For example, custom messages may be shortened (i.e. Birthday may be written as BDAY), specific colour requests may have a slightly different tint.
Smash Date? (The date you want the piñata by?) If we know when you need it by, we will make sure we get it to you on time.

Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled up to one business day after you placed your order.

This refund policy has been constructed to take into account the supplies purchased to make your order, prep work that may have occurred to start your order, and the slot that was reserved for you that could have gone to another customer.

Final sale
As our products are made to order as per your customization requests, all products are final sales. If you find that there is an issue with your order, please email us at info@smashinggood.ca, we will do our best to assist you.

Handle with care
Please be as careful with your order as possible. When received, store in a safe place before the big day.

We are not responsible for any damage to the smash piñata in the case that you break or drop it.

Order Mistakes
If you find that there is a mistake with your order, please contact us through email at info@smashinggood.ca by replying to your order confirmation email. We will do our best to determine what caused the problem and remedy the situation on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery
Your order will be delivered to the address you provide when checking out. Please ensure that the delivery address you provide is correct and that there is a number for us to call if we have difficulties completing the delivery. After placing your order, please ensure that the delivery date you selected at checkout is accurate as well. Your selected delivery date is visible at the bottom of your order confirmation email. Confirmation emails are sent automatically, so if you did not receive one, please check your junk mail or spam folder.

If you need to change your delivery date after the order is placed, please contact us by replying to your order confirmation email as soon as possible. The earlier we are contacted, the likelier we are able to accommodate your request.

Delivery E-mail Updates
1-2 days prior to delivery, you will receive an e-mail informing you of your planned date of delivery. If you need to contact us, please send us an email at info@smashinggood.ca.

Day of Delivery
We will use ground touchless delivery and it is safest to have someone receive the order. We will try to deliver the order directly to the recipient, however in the case that there is no one available to retrieve the order or we are unable to enter the building, we will try to find a safe spot to deposit the order. Once the order is deposited, the recipient will be notified that the delivery has been made. We are not responsible for any damage or theft that may occur to the order once the delivery has been made.

If you need your order for a specific day, please have your order delivered days before your event or choose the pickup option.
